The distribution of Social Pension Payout for senior citizens was graced by Mayor Felix Roma Panganoron at the Municipal Sports Center, Brgy. Cautod, Sta. Margarita, Samar yesterday, November 3, 2022.

The first batch of pensioners were from Brgy. Cautod and Monbon that summed up to approximately 343 who received the combined grants for the second, third and fourth quarters of 2022 Calendar.

The recipients of the said social pension are the indigent senior citizen pensioners residing in the municipality who have qualified the standards set by the authority and who were able to comply all the needed documentary requirements upon validation.

The activity was headed by Mrs. Marietta A. Verdeflor, MSWD Officer, with the assistance of PESO employees headed by Mrs. Fe C. Capetillo, and KALAHI-CIDSS employees headed by Ms. Kenneth Angelique Dongon. The distribution was also graced by Hon. Josefina R. Escuadra, SB Chairperson on Social Welfare; Mr. Rachel Salinas, OSCA Head; Mrs. Merlyn M. Capetillo, MNAO; and, representatives from DSWD Field Office VIII.
