The municipal officials and all the department heads convened for a close-group discussion on the updates and status of the preparation of the municipality for the next year’s goal of passing the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) assessment of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
In the said meeting, all the indicators were scrutinized based on the level of the municipality’s accomplishment. The possibility of complying each indicator was also determined along with strategies that will be implemented to augment the preparation process.
As agreed by the attendees, all agencies were encouraged to take part in the preparation not just on the indicators they are involved in but also on other indicators that still lack and need to be complied.
The goal for the SGLG has been a great motivation for the current administration to further enhance the delivery of good public service and respond to the needs of the locality. That is the reason why the Local Government of Sta. Margarita is taking every single step to comply with the indicators set by the DILG.
With this, the Local Government of Sta. Margarita continuously commits to provide quality services for the betterment of the municipality and its people.
The meeting was headed by Mr. Ivo Allan Ty, MLGOO, and was participated in by all the department heads and the SB Members led by Mayor Felix Roma Panganoron, and Vice-Mayor Erdie de los Santos.
